What the speed numbers mean

BulkTranscripts advertises about two minutes for a 100-video playlist. That is its own claim, not a head-to-head measurement.

One Scribiz development run delivered 100 selected captions in 24.59 seconds after 34.34 seconds of channel discovery. Ten captions were already stored. The combined observation was 58.93 seconds.

That run used the real hosted caption service from a local API. It is not a production latency guarantee. Caption availability, channel discovery and upstream delays affect completion. A later 1,000-video run delivered 916 captions in 6 minutes 23 seconds and reported the remaining items.

Large channel discovery can return a partial list at its time limit. Scribiz shows the limit instead of promising that every channel finishes in one request.

Caption quality follows the source

Existing captions contain the words their creator or YouTube supplied. Scribiz preserves those words, the source language and cue times. A caption download does not prove better speech recognition.

Use the bulk tool for faithful caption files. Choose Listen to transcribe speech, or Watch to read the screen. Those actions have their own quote and minute charge.

BulkTranscripts is a focused choice for YouTube caption archives. Scribiz fits when you also need media transcription or video understanding in the same product.
