Where TurboScribe is better
- Long files, in bulk. Its paid plan takes files up to 10 hours or 5 GB, 50 at a time. The Scribiz web tool takes 100 MB in the browser, one file per run.
- Documents. It exports DOCX and PDF next to TXT, SRT and VTT. Scribiz has no DOCX export.
- Translation. It translates transcripts and subtitles to 134+ languages. Scribiz does not translate.
- No minute counting. Its paid plan does not count minutes for one person. Scribiz counts minutes on every plan.
Pick TurboScribe if you transcribe many long files and want DOCX, PDF or translated subtitles.
What Scribiz does differently
- It reads the screen. Scribiz can watch a video link too. Each scene comes back with the text that appeared on screen.
- More than the words. Every result has a summary and chapters, each tied to a time in the video.
- No account to start. The free tool takes a link or a file without sign-up.
- Built for agents. Claude, Cursor or Codex can read a video link over MCP. There is also an API and a command-line tool. About the MCP server
Pick Scribiz if you want more than the words of a video: the screen, a summary and chapters, for you or for an agent.
